What We Offer
We offer consulting and engineering services for companies in the fields of textile and membrane technologies as well as filtration solutions. The aim is to increase the competitiveness and efficiency of customers in these industries.
The focus is on developing sustainable strategies, optimizing products and sourcing, and introducing innovative materials and processes.
Consulting, development, and implementation of innovative solutions in the areas of filtration (air, water, PPE, wastewater, membranes), sustainable materials (PFAS-free materials, breathable films), and system solutions for waste management.
We source materials in close consultation with our customers and suppliers. We act as matchmakers between producers and customers. We use digital agency services with state-of-the-art software and AI tools to increase your efficiency.
About US
Dr.-Ing. Till Batt is an experienced expert in development, process engineering, and filtration applications with over 15 years of international experience in research, industry, and innovation management. Based in Zurich, he works as an independent consultant, combining scientific depth with practical implementation for companies, start-ups, and institutions aiming to develop sustainable and scalable engineering solutions.
After completing his Master’s degree in 2008 at Reutlingen University, he earned his PhD at the University of Stuttgart in process engineering, focusing on the development of a meltblown process for producing ultrafine polymer fibers. In parallel, he began his professional career at the German Institutes for Textile and Fiber Research (DITF), where he developed functional fiber and filtration systems and led his first industrial projects.
At MANN+HUMMEL, he subsequently managed international development projects in air filtration, gaining extensive experience in the interplay between filter media, manufacturing technologies, large-scale production, and patenting.
Building on this foundation, he deepened his expertise at ETH Zurich with a Master of Advanced Studies in Future Mobility Systems, focusing on sustainable innovation, systems thinking, and emerging technologies in energy and mobility.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led the publicly funded ReMask research project at Empa, focusing on Switzerland’s national mask supply. He later became Head of Research & Development at Novamem, where he drove the industrial implementation of polymer-based membrane and filtration systems. There, he collaborated with leading European brands in the fields of membrane technology, sanitary engineering, and drinking water purification.
Today, Dr. Batt supports companies in developing innovative materials, processes, and products—from concept development and prototyping to industrialization. His consulting approach combines deep technical expertise, sustainability, and market insight to deliver forward-looking solutions at the intersection of materials science, engineering, and textile technology.
